My bare metal respray in Slovenia cost 1200 Euro's if that helps any. Apparently I was fleeced on the price as well.

I tied it in with a driving holiday and left the car there taking a return flight home and back again with a bucket airline.

for a respray at the bodyshop where i work your looking at anything between £500 and a £1000 depending on what you want doing and how far you want to go with it. ie cheaper if you mask everything out, a good prepper painter can still turn out a good job without stripping the car down!

I had a colour change respray done on my Skyline last year as the door shuts etc needed doing anyhow , we didnt do under the bonnet and the car needed little in the way of repairs apart from a few car park dings .

I ran around for quotes and got ones from £1500 -£5000 , looking at the cheaper jobs i could see why they were cheap!!, I ended up paying just over £2k for this job

Hi bigdave - that sounds very reasonable - I'm looking for a respray of my Saab 9000 - can you be more specific about your place of work? A phone number maybe?
