Reversing lights

I seem to be loosing my reversing lights on a regular basis...cant seem to trace problem ,must be a bad connection??? any likley places to look?? is there a connection under the car on gearbox???
They come and go with the potholes sometimes hence the last question.

most likely it will be a loose reverse light switch or dirt around it.

Ok is that located under the car on the gear box , similar to BMW???
