Road Angel not working - any ideas?

This morning my Road Angel just showed a --- mph screen and refuses to work.

I can't pretend to fully understand the various menus you go through when selecting the buttons, but it just refuses to register speed - and my guess is therefore it is not working.

Tried rebooting. No avail.

This is the old style road angel, not the new shaped one thats current.

Anyone any ideas?

How long do you leave it??

if mine doesnt get used for a long time it displays that for a few minutes before it starts working..
