Rough Idle & Misfire

Rash decision but decided to buy a 1986 w123 230te that hasn't moved or started for 5 years

I know it's gonna bleed me dry but I have always loved them

I've managed to get her started but it idles like a pig with a missfire
I've changed so far:
Plugs
Leads Cap & Rotor
Compression ok around 125
All vacuum hoses are connected and intact

I will be changing the fuel filter tomorrow

Just wanted to throw it out to you guys with the knowledge as this is my 1st Benz so in the dark a little but desperate to get her up and running

Hi did you flush out old petrol and replace with fresh fuel 5 years too long for petrol change filter hope this helps

i agree with paris the fuel goes off and changes to sludge after a couple of years . I would drain the tank and try and flush out or renew the fuel lines and filter . Ive had it before when i used to restore old cars the old fuel can cause all sorts of problems till you get it out

I didn't flush out any of the old fuel (it had very little in there but maybe should of) I put approx £15 of fresh fuel in
I will try the new filter with some more fresh fuel with some additive and update
