Hi, I’ve a e220d 2018 (c238) I’ve had this squeak/creak noise coming from the rear mostly the o/s and originally thought suspension as it makes a squeak/creak when going over large speed bumps then a garage said we’re convinced it’s a scraping noise from your brakes so I’ve stripped that side down cleaned everything, chamfered the pads etc but it still does this strange noise at low speed, I’m convinced it’s coming from the rear tyres which are Goodyear eagle run flats on 20 inch rims, any one else had the same sort of issue.? Cheers.

could it be the suspension arms?

Is it a 'squeak/creak' or a scraping noise ? ...very different. How many miles on this car ? When mine had a 'squeak/creak' over speed humps etc it was this .

Number 8 , These are the pivot type (not elastomer) so have grease in them

and 'sealed' each side with rubber. It is almost impossible to see if the rubber is split or worn without dropping the arm down. Not a big job with the correct tools. I replaced both sides
