Rust

    If you read some of the posts here, you'd think only Mercs have rust problems :D.

    Well, on our way back from Torquay yesterday, I spotted this L-plate beemer... :devil:

    The pictures are really bad quality as I took them quickly on the mobile phone and the chap in the car didn't seem too pleased with my attention :crazy::

    There was rust everywhere! :crazy: All the wheel arches, around the boot lid, along the bottom of the doors etc. The pictures make it look better than it actually was :eek:.

    I think you should be commended for finding a E36 that hasnt been Barried

    I have a pal who owned a 3 series of that age. Rust was everywhere and it was really rotten. I saw a newer (X reg) 3 series and the paint had started tp bubble, so I guess they're not invincible too.
