Went to lick up my car earluer today, and nothing happened, no clunk, no flashing. Also had noticed that the light on the disable alarm switch on the dash was permanantly on, couldn't activate locks via button next to that either. No response from the system.
Also lights don't come on when door opened, and only way to get interior lights to turn off is to open and shut the boot lid. Which as always been a bit tempermentalbat opening, requiring the inside handle to open boot,

Possibly related, rear wiper doesn't work.

All I can think of is that when I opened thevboot at the beginning of the journey was that maybe I disturbed something in the boot when I reached over the rear seats to open internally and push. I believe the system is air operated, have I dislodged an air tube, and the light is telling me this?

I can't even lock the car so it is quite urgent!

Any ideas?

Thanks

The pump for the central locking is under the offside passenger seat...next to the battery. reaching over the seat will not be the cause. The wiper isn't related to the opener...so another fault...electrical.

Took the pse apart, dried a small amount of moisture off, put it back together, and it all works again, even the wiper.

If there is moisture present in the PSE you need to check the carpet in the rear O/S footwell isn't damp.
If the carpet is damp, you need to clear the drain under the front wiper assembly. Not a big job, but worth doing to save buying a new PSE, one day.
