S210 Towbar

Hi,

I've got a factory fitted towbar fitted to the back of my S210. The problem is the swan neck, it won't engage with the towbar. Now the handbook says that the red sector should align with a green one, but my swan neck won't turn that far. A complicating factor is the handwheel key is broken in the lock, so I am wondering if this is the underlying issue or is it something else?

Pull the turnwheel out and then twist. If you can't pull it out then it may be locked and the key is the issue.

Once you have it pulled out and twisted you have to very forcefully insert it...sometimes resorting to a jack to get it is completely.
