Recently purchased an S320 have previously posted a thread relating to the Airmatic which may now have been solved? this one relates to what felt like inefficient breaks on the test drive which I put down to having just had new front Discs and Pads fitted? the vehicle had since been driven by the Trader to get an MOT etc. which it passed without issues, yet a few days later when I collected the vehicle while on the journey home I felt that I was still having to use more than expected foot pressure to break, I had been driving a 13 plate C200 CDi supplied by the insurance company, when I queried the breaks with the trader he said that the C200 would feel a lot easier to stop than an S Class because of the extra weight, said jumping from a C200 to an S Class would take some getting used to, but I would have thought that on a car like this the breaks would have been excellent? since you chaps drive these cars all the time how would you rate the braking efficiency compared to other vehicles you have driven?
