S55K - Looking to buy

Hi All,

I have been toying with the idea of buying an S55K and now i'm in a position to look for one. I have been doing some research on these and havent found much info out there.

I am looking for help in term of what to look out for and what to check before i go an see one and buy one.

Take someone with a star machine.
Hydraulic suspension is one of the serious worries for owners of these. Check out the service history on that. The pump alone is mega bucks!
Sweeping generalisation coming...I have seen plenty of C or E class AMGs that were total dogs, but haven't seen any really rough S class AMG vehicles at all. I have heard of some dogs out there.
