sat nav problems

hi all at the mo my 2012 e class sat nav only works on a 6 figure postcode which is very random at times can you change the command system to take an 8 figure postcode.

Do you have COMAND, or the plug in Becker Map pilot. And if it is COMAND, do you have a PCMCIA slot or a SD card slot.

I assume you mean it currently does
GU18 5
and not
GU18 5SD

(ie 5 and 7 and not 6 and 8) or are you in a country with 8 digit post codes ?

sorry yes i am in the uk and yes your spot on re post codes , i have the command system which is just a cd rom i think , theres no sd slot i can see .

OK, it sounds like you have the Audio-50-APS system, and that can't do it.

The COMAND (NTG4 with pcmcia card) in the E class (but not C class!!) can be updated with latest firmware and map to support it, but I don't think the Audio-50 APS can.

The COMAND (with SDcard slot) always supports 7 digit post-code.
