2015 mercedes c class 250
Hello, newbie on here. Had a look but couldnt see anything that covered my question.

I have a 6 month old C250 bluetec (W205 I gather).

I have no sat nav with it and wondered what the best and / or cheapest method of getting this capability in the car was ?

thanks

I am by no means a expert, but I do know the satnav for that car was a £2000 option,so not that many have it fitted, the cheapest way to get satnav would be to use a Iphone connected to the radio and with a satnav app it will turn down the sound when the app gives directions, not quiet as good as having a nice big sat nav screen but a lot cheaper, other than that a stand alone satnav like Garmin for £80 with lifetime map updates.

So you didn't opt for the command system, but does this not mean you can use the Garmin option by buying the required card or unit (not sure how it works in the W205). But I'm sure there is the option like in w204, where the latter models were pre-wired for the Becker unit, where you just bought the Becker unit and connect it in the glove box.

Have tried asking your dealer?

Thanks for the replies. So only way to get sat nav to appear on the big screen is to have the MB supplied system ? so can use app on phone which is bluethoothed to the car and get audio alerts instead ?

don't you get garmin sat nav as standard?

Base SE gets the Garmin pre wiring only. Full Garmin is Sat Nav an option at that level.

But obviously could be easily retro fitted.
