i got a 02 clk convertible,recently fitted a satnav think its the original.purchased map disc it loads up and activates without any problem,shows map on screen fine also position,it comes up with off road message and keeps saying position no reconizied on a digitized road,anyone no whats going wrong with nav .

How olds the map? Does it resemble the area your in. Have you tried it when in a different location?

When in the Navi menu go down to settings. In a sub menu under this is calibration. Cant remember the precise process but you basically tell the system how close you are to a junction and it then calibrates itself from that.
