Must admit I've never hit the G Wagon thing it's sort of a very over priced tractor and there is far better out there for less money yes I know it's a cult thing but not a 4x4 I would buy
Must admit I'm also struggling with the Mercedes thing altogether at the moment, looking for a new daily driver for next year and been to see quite a few MB from c class to S class and quite honestly the build quality is shocking cars that are 10 - 12 years newer than my CLK with worse bodies interiors and full of rattles and squeaks
My w208 is my first MB and I love it but sadly I think it will also be my last

Yes look at Lexus, and buy my 2003 Mk1 RX300 (its been our "lifeboat" for the past 8 years).......selling soon as I ordered a Q3 yesterday.
Yes I liked our RX, excellent car. Just wished they had done a 5litre V8 version
Well it would sound nice..........rather than the near silence as is normal.
Seriously though we have finally decided to sell the barge, its been faithful and a comfy ride for us but now we are both retired we cannot justify two 4X4 on the drive.

I've driven a few LS now and they do nothing for me soulless with the driver disconnected from the drive
Top at the moment are Audi A8 and Jsguar XJ
