Hi guys, new to the forum as well as new to being an MB owner, so please be gentle!

Recently purchased a 64 plate C220d AMG Line estate which I'm loving. The only downside however that I've come across being the uncomfortable seats!

Have tried different positions (oooohhhh Matron!) but still can't get comfortable. I believe I've narrowed it down to the angle of the seat cushion being too high at the front, however I don't appear to be able to adjust this.

Therefore my question and the reason for coming here in the instance .....

How feasible and easy is it to retrofit the comfort package?

I'm assuming that we'd need to replace the seats, the controls in the doors and possibly an ECU? But what about the wiring? Does the comfort package use the existing wiring or does that need replacing as well?

I look forward to your replies.

Cheers.

Hello and welcome.

Whilst anything is possible I imagine the expense of your proposal would not be viable.

Trying to find seats from another car in scrap yard would not be something I would want and new seats from MB plus all else that is required would make it uneconomical. Have you thought of asking a car trimming business if anything could be done to modify the current seats?

Sell it and buy a non 'AMG' model one..or one that fits you. Swapping seats around (if possible) will cost you money to do and even more at re sale when someone looking for a car with AMG trim notices the lack of AMG seats. Good luck.
