Took daughter and boyfriend to airport this afternoon so that's 3 adults plus 3 (!) suitcases. On the way up had a warning to check dipped beam bulb R.
Having dropped them off, when I switched ignition on I had 1 malfunction show.
On the return journey had no warning message and on return home no malfunction either.
Presumably if the bulb had gone the warning message would be permament but then wondered if the self levelling would be faulty.
Going to check the lights when it's dark and then put some weight in the back tomorrow to see if the ' malfunction' reappears.
What I don't know, is the self levelling feature part and parcel of the bulb unit or is it a separate unit on it's own, that if the car is laden then might the self levelling be faulty.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
