my car has self levelling suspension,on the small plastic bottle on the right in the engine bay is the filling point with marks on it,......MAX...UNBELADEN...MIN..the fluid is on unbeladen (unloaded in english) is this correct .and if loaded will it the fluid move to the Max position...or should it be topped up to the max position

When the car is loaded the fluid level will go down as some goes into the rams and spheres to prop the car back up again.

Thanks for that ....will it require topping up to the Max ...or will it be ok at that level ..if it needs topping up which oil do i use ....off to the stealers on thursday for A service so trying to top up as many fuilds as poss ...took your advice on brake and coolant change brakes feel so much better ...the temp gauge seams to take slightley longer to reach 80 but seams ok

the fluid level needs to be midway between the two marks when unladen.

Topping up yoursel is dine but don't overfill it and sadly the only place you can easily get hold of the correct (ZM Hydraulic) fluid is your friendly local stealership - cost about £8.50 per litre.
