Sell the AMG and buy a Peugeot!!

I'd hate to be driving a Peugeot 806 MPV past that speed camera

Or a Ducati 996 for that matter :p

I used to drive past that speed camera on the way home from work every day!

If you look around you will find some other quality examples of clerical blunders like this, a guy with an antique tractor was snapped doing something crazy like 70mph, when it literally won't do anything over about 12mph, and a guy with a Nissan Primera was busted for doing over 300mph. I think both of them ended up being fined, even thought the speed was wrong! :(

oh hell yea, now you knwo the real reason why they used a 406 as the hero car in that great car film taxi (actually no micky takign but pug engines are really good for the money, especially there diesel lumps)

 surely not. I can't believe any court would do someone for 70mph even when there is proof that the vehicle can't physically travel above 12mph  This is a sad state of affairs if true

I don't remember the exact stories, maybe a quick search is in order. I seem to remember being quite annoyed when reading it though, isn't it so totally obvious that it's just not possible to do those speeds in the car they claim did them, and as such they should just throw the ticket in the bin and concentrate on the people going less than 200mph! :)

I think the last 2 sentences sum it all up, they are still going to prosecute, and are applying to magistrates for a summons.

Just as an aside, a Peugeot 205 Gti come past me today with no registration plates front or back, I cant imagine he'd have much trouble with the speed cameras. It made me think, what's the penalty for having no number plates ? If it's cheaper than speeding fines, maybe he was on a winner.

i dunno but i think if you dont have plates it invalidates your licence

still id want that phot from the speed camera jsut for novelty sakes, look what my company car can do :D
