C63 estate
It has been one year and half since i bought the car back. All this time it has been parked in the drive way. The tire pressure is amazing, the front is 2.4, rear 2.0. I guess it didn't lose too much air. now i pump it to 2.6.

The outside of the car is horriable, fallen leaves, fallen seeds, spider nets with insects ,rust in the brakses and wheel nuts. Inside luckily it doesn't have moldy spot. unlike the Honda. New battery is booked from Autokare, US brand cost arround 280. I didn't even notice W204 had stop/start function. AGM battery is expensive. Bought a Ctek battery charger try to save the battery, but it doest work some how, I guess the battery is too flat. the postion of the battery hurts my back and knees. Couldn't open the boot and rear doors.

Booked a service and Mot, hope it can pass the first time. Service A is aprox 200. I guess service A will be good, As it has been changed brake fulid and coolant in 2019. As she didn't do any mileage in 2020. only 2019 it has done 13000 miles in previous owner.

The engine oil is siting at the minimum, Shall I top up before i start the engine ?

Many thanks for letting me in the forum. Giving up the FMBSH, it's a speical choice, I guess i will keep the car for ever then. Hopefully it doesn't have the common problems in M156, the camshaft and the wearing cap? According to my research, please correct me if i am wrong. The 507 w204 is exactlly same as the normol C63 w204. I guess i will never know until i unbox the cover.

Looking forward to shine the car again. PIAA water repellent is ready. 无标题.jpg

Its basically the same as the PPP car with a bit more power and different wheels , beautiful car by the way 😀

This might help re your battery -

A service A from my local main dealer is £280 i think you should keep FMBSH for a 507 estate they are rising in value and rare.

Nice AMG

Most chargers won't charge an AGM battery that went below 10v. The way around it to connect two batteries in parallel, the charger will detect the voltage from the good battery and will start charging, once the bad battery goes above 10v the good battery can be disconnected.

The down side is that you need to have a second good AGM battery.

Alternatively, you can jump-start the car with a booster then drive it (carefully, testing the brakes).

But obviously the battery *could* be completely dead if it was left flat for too long, but as you said it's worth trying to charge it first.

If the engine oil level is not BELOW the Min, I wouldn't worry about it, as the car is booked for a service anyway.

As for the brakes, drive the car carefully to remove any surface rust from the discs ('drag' the brakes lightly while driving slowly), then inspect the discs visually for any pitting. If there's no sign of deep pitting, and the calipers are not seized, then the brakes should be fine.

He can't keep FMBSH as it will be missing 1 from last year even though it didn't do anything, you are correct in the prices though

well. That's what i thought too. COVID-19 changed all my plan. From 1 month holiday to 3 months. Then 1 year. Then 1 and half year.

Currently is not below. It is just at the mark.

Next time, I get another car with AGM battery. so i can try that. New battery is in, can't wait to see the beast Howl

That's what i thought too. I guess it will end with the camshaft wearing issue too. My friend had c63. He had his parts replaced. Please see the photo. It clearlly shows some abnormal wear.

Its abit like the rod bearings on the M3 its not actually that common, i did have mine checked at 52,000 miles all good 👍just keep an eye on the passenger side cam cover as these will crack and drip oil onto the manifold its just a matter of when 😃

Well with the car having been sat for a long the brakes maybe a problem,be aware that when you release the electronic hand brake you might find that when you want to go forward nothing will happen, then you will get a jolt when the parking brakes actually let go of the rear disc,it no big problem but you will have given the car a few more revs to move forward and where your car is parked a sudden move forward will be onto the pavement.

They don't have an electronic handbrake its a peddle but the same applies if he used it when parked up

I don't remember if i did used the peddle before i left. But I will see when the battery is fully charged and put back.

New battery is fully charged before go in. All good. Moved a bit to release the brakes. It needed a deeper throttle to move. Check the engine oil again, still at the Min mark. guess it is fine until the MOT and service.

You only get a correct reading after the car is upto temp then left for 5 mins switched off

I thought is warm runing, and then let it sit for 10min ish. I guess it is still less. Just about to get the warning light.

MOT Plus Service A, £300 together. I guess the dealer wont be that bad.
Just noticed they used 0W30, not 0W40 I guessed. Interesting decision to go, I will see how the oil consumpiton in future. It is siting at the top Max mark @65884 miles.
Only did 200miles since last MOT, which is 21 month ago. Let's gogogo
