Just noticed i get a -703d service code when my 96 SLK is switched on. Anyone know where you can find out what these codes mean? (Apart from the local stealer who is just a complete a**hole)

With a name like Vambo you must be an Alex Harvey fan?

IF it has been serviced requlary then concern is not so great.
Sometimes the FSS reset on SLKs is hard to do.
Have a look in your glovebox handbook.

hi guys

The SLK's last stamp in the book was 3 days before i bought it in Feb this year. Its been done twice by the same independent garage and the MOT's show its only done 8,000 since the one roughly 703 days ago done by MB. So i guess the independent didn't reset the code.

yep your where right about Alex Harvey

Return it to them to reset the code, and for free of course.

Thanks Bazzle, worked a treat.
