Anyone taken out the MB Service Plan? Is it worth it?

My dealer suggested that, with average mileage, I will need 3 services in 3 years.

Does a MY2012 car on variable servicing (ASSYST PLUS) with average annual mileage still need to have an annual service?

A friend who bought a C class last summer asked me what I thought. They wanted £30/month. So £360 a year - or £360 per service. I didn't think this was good value.

also remember some cars need a service every 2 years or 13000 miles, i think its good if there is no milage stipulation over the 3 years and you do high milage
