After reading some recommendations in the forum booked my '98 E300td estate with 75k in for A service, gearbox fluid & filter change, investigate knock from front suspension.
Got off to a bad start when the loan car wouldn't!! However Ray soon managed to sort out another 190 - not perfect but who's worried as long as it gets you home & back again! All the staff very friendly & Ray goes out of his way to look after you - very refreshing.
Rang after 5 to say car ready but would require anti-roll bar links? - if wanted them doing car would still be ready for collection @ 8.30 the following morning. Gave the go-ahead & arrived next day @ 8.20 & car all ready to go.
The bill? £455.00 inc vat for everything including wheel alignment - I'll have to take it back for this as machine broken.
Wouldn't go anywhere else!!
Great service and sensible pricing.
Oh, by the way, since having the fluid changed there seems to be bags more power on light to medium throttle positions. Gear changes are slightly smoother, but they were ok to begin with.
