Service & Works Cost

Hi

Just got my baby back from my local indie and here is what ive had done to the car:

Full Main Service
2 x New Rear Springs
2 x Front Bottom Balljoints
4 x Anti Roll Bar Links
Exhaust Heat Sheild
Rear Brakes & Pads
Front Brakes & Pads
2 x Front Wishbones
OSF Mirror & Motor
Rocker Gasket

Shes runing great and the back end just feels so different its unbelivable.

The total cost for the above work was £650

Question is did I pay to much or was it a good spend?

Did they use MB springs?

Good quality lower arms are £150 each!

The parts should have been at least £500 for high quality bits. What make parts did they use for the brakes?

I belive all the parts where standard MB parts, the springs where MB as well, I basically told them to replace all items with new original parts (except the wing mirror which they had already and just switched the insides).

I did pay cash so I dont think it went thru the books but it was the only way of getting a discount, took a week to get my car back but worth it in the end and it seems I got a good deal.

I work out about £600 in parts alone, so yes it was a good deal.
