Servicing Info Advice

Hi - looking at replacing my current Mercedes with a more modern one. Have seen one I quite like and it is a 2008 model, the garage selling it are not a main dealer. When I enquired about service records they produced a printout with service history and advised the Mercedes now do not supply service books with cars but keep electronic records only.

Is this correct ... can anyone verify this?

Yes that is correct - not sure what year they started doing this though..
