Shall I work my magic again?

Gina, I hope you wear out the boyfriends less quickly than the cars. :D

But yes, you should go for the three pointed star again.

looks a nice car... but do check the engine over for leaks etc...

We have a customers C180 here that has blown head gasket.. also bottom end issues...oil everywhere and so we have had to declare the car scrap as the cost of repair is more than the car is worth!

Gina,

Whats the longest you have kept a car for? Is there anything wrong with the Golf, or is the desire for the star too strong.

Anyway, the car in question fails to show the front seats or dash and this makes me a little suspicious. Are the front leather seats in good condition?
I am sure you have noted that its a manual and this is OK with you.

Looks nice, just down the road from me too ;)

Bet you missed the poshness interior and the ride of the Merc.:D

After a Merc, it not normal to have something else.

Welcome back soon, traitor.

Hello! I know it's probably not normal to change cars as often as I do but I just get "bored" or fancy a change, or like to try them all! (well not all).

Nothing wrong with the golf whatsoever, it runs like a dream and still brings asmile to my face, (if I could I would keep both!):D

My neighbour has a w202 estate, and when she takes me out in that I love the bonnet and the star and just the driving experience....I adored my c230k.
Longest I've had a car for is 18 months and that was my C200 Elegance, (1st ever merc), shortest time is 7 weeks? :D (but that was to buy the komp so that's allowed!)

The Merc ticked all the boxes, even being better on fuel even though it's heavier and bigger engine. I loved sitting in it, driving it, etc etc. Great car. My brother obviously has his e220 but I don't get to drive that these days. :(

That example was just one I noticed today whilst browsing, manual is fine with me, my last was a manual and I liked it, I quite like manual gear boxes but auto is also fine with me. :) Never really felt at home as such in the coupe, not sure why, but the c class, I liked!

Might be a few months yet but the thought is there so who knows?!

the coupe is a big car, very masculine... the c class is smaller and feels more nimble..

So I have a girls car? Great :( ;)

(Actually I just remembered mines a 180, so it really is a girls car - doh!)

Go for it Gina, looks like a good example and this one is better specced than your old one with AC & rear electric windows too. Do check for rust though.

Ha...........yesterday Gina it was a camper van.... but as your brother i would say get the merc..... looks better on our street than the golf.
