Should a 2014 W204 Coupé have electronic sliding seats?

Hi

Been looking at W204 coupes for my wife and recently saw a nice 2014 model. However when I tried to access the rear seats I was surprised that front seats didn’t move forward electronically when I tipped them forward. I thought this was a standard feature, or was it an option?

It'll be an option - premium pack.

The seats on my C63 coupe move forward when you tilt them. Can't see any mention of it in the options list but I do have memory seats so maybe part of that package?

Thanks for the helpful replies. Well this is a premium pack car (comes with pano roof and COMAND) but the seats didn't slide forward. Perhaps it is linked to the memory function, as this car doesn't have memory seats.

I had a 2015 E350 blutec C207 with pano roof and Comand but no memory seats. I had to manually tip then slide the seats. The electric slide and tilt was only with the memory seats. I know you are looking at a C Class but I would assume the choice of options would be similar. From memory Premium Plus or a stand alone gets the memory seats that auto move. Both of these two extras ramped up the purchase price and if you seldom travel 3 or 4 up the money saved could find other uses.

Thanks that’s a really helpful reply. I guess this car doesn’t have it. Will use the rear seats rarely so not massively fussed but good to know.

It’s definitely the memory pack that you’ll need, which you could get separately or in the prem plus

They have electric height and back rest adjustment as standard though

I may be mistaken then! Could just be a stand alone option. It should also have COMAND with the plus

No worries!! Mercedes packs and options confuse the hell out of me!
Yes it comes with Comand. One of the reasons I’ve gone for the coupe as originally was after a saloon but hard to find one with Comand.

The premium plus package should have:
Comand Online
DAB radio
Heated seats
Lighting package
Reversing camera
Panoramic glass sunroof

I don't see memory seats listed as an option on the W204 apart from being standard on the C63.

Very helpful, thank you. It has all of those....quite well specced cars really.

Just have one question, if ok pls. Does the lighting package refer to the Xenons and intelligent lighting function or an interior lighting package, as my E63 has the nice orange ambient lighting running across the dash and door panels and would love it on the C180 but forget to check!

Courtesy lighting in exterior mirrors
Courtesy lights in doors
Illuminated air vent thumbwheels
Illuminated door recess
Illuminated front footwell
Illuminated interior handle recess

Sounds like the car has the interior lighting package I wanted then!

Didn't realise the alloys were an option, but glad they were specced, as they suit the car best in my opinion. Not a fan of the alloys they put on the AMG Sport Plus versions.
