Silly question?

Hi Gareth ,

I remember reading somewhere that Saab reckoned the absolute maximum power you could ( sensibly ) put through the front wheels was 240bhp .

But then saying that Mark300SL on here has a Honda CRX that puts out 400+bhp through the front wheels and that seems ok

That's progress - not many years before 240bhp would have been insane - think Lancia Thema 8.32!!

IIRC it looks like the new Focus RS will be 300bhp FWD and supposedly handles even sweeter than the Megane R26R.

it was remapped and had an ITG filter (not that the filter was really responsible for any performance increase), it was more about the torque though at 280ft lb. The LSD worked really well at keeping the power under control in the R26, hence its great reviews which really helped to increase sales of the car (I had the 225 with Cup Chassis before it for a year) some pics of the R26 :

I remember driving the Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo (225bhp) back in 1997 - press the loud pedal and drop the clutch from a standing start and it was like being a dog on a lead, suddenly yanked along by its owner on a bike:)

Hahahahahaahhahahahahh !!! :D

ok, next silly question. In the toolkit, what is this used for??

Centering a road-wheel when changing it for the spare. Because the car uses bolts not studs it's hard to moun the wheel without it, although I never use it.
