Can't help you with the search, but if you're after a good value solution, how about Tesco Mobile?

My phones are on contracts with Vodafone and O2 respectively, but for the car's handset I have a PAYG Tesco Mobile SIM, which is great value. Excellent call prices, including making/receiving calls abroad which I do often. And I have 3 "friends" numbers that I can call/text half price. For the car, it's exactly the right thing. I keep the balance around 100 quid so that I'm never without connectivity.
