Is it my imagination, or has that SL got larger rear wheels, say 20" rears and 19" fronts, like the SLS?

look at the side of the mouthy grille in spy pics .. quite different
I doubt they would change or re-engineer the roof or its mechanism for a facelift

I'm of the same opinion as " BIRMA", Mercedes ruined the front of the SL last time they restyled it. Went to see a plastic surgeon and got smashed in the face with a cricket bat instead. Hope they do a better job this time.

Why this facelift has taken so long is amazing, the SL's sales have been flagging for ages and alot of this must be down to its looks.
This fixes the akward front perfectly.
