Have just refitted my seatbelts after having new webbing fitted. Problem with the passenger belt , which is not "engaging" on the ratchet when pulled sharply. Sometimes it does, others it doesnt. Frustratingly , each time i remove it from the car it works fine , put it back on , same problem again.Need to disassemble , but the screw heads are y shaped , (3 sided).
Anyone know if there is a screwdriver available in this style please ?
Cant have mrs Nomoney going through the screen , might damage the bonnet.

Do you not think of sending it back to whoever fitted the webbing? Surely it must be their fault?
I think if you take the end cover off you will have a handful of uncoiled spring to deal with.

i wouldnt risk undoing them either. (They can be a nightmare to take apart and put back together, correctly torqued etc)

firstly you'll have no come backs if it all goes wrong.

secondly, these things really are a matter of personal security and need to be done right.

Belts were done by an upholsterer friend as a favour.have refitted again , seems to be ok.:)
