SL R129 AMG Rear Bumper

Earlier to day a guy hit the back of my car.

I am guna need a new bumper, does anyone know how much the AMG rear bumper would be in comparisson to the original??

Also I can't really afford to have the front bumper and side skirts done at the moment so would it look really daft to have just the rear done for now??

One sold on ebay for 99p a few days ago!!
I wouldn't just change one bumper with an AMG one as it will upset the lines of the car. You need the full kit or it will look a bit odd. I would just stick with the standard one.
I think they were around the £700+vat mark.

may check out the cost of full AMG kit and sell of the damaged rear bumper and the perfect front bumper.

Update

Decided to stick with the original type bumper in the end.

The car was taken off to the garage today and should be back in about a week. The bill is just over £2800.

I have a nice '04 plate CLK 320 Avantgarde Convertible to play with until then. Its a nice car but not a patch on the SL, even though the SL is 5 years old its in a different league!

The CLK has some cool toys though, like mirrors that fold when you lock the car, the ability to drop and raise the soft top using the remote and of course my favourite triple flash overtaking indicators :bannana: .
