No and then, yes! Strange just can't quite reconcile the combination ..

Back looks a little like the Z3 "coupe" and I didn't like that either.. :D

Add Lancia integralle style arches and it could work. Something like a quattro but with flatter / sportier nose. It could work.

Its got potential, Like the idea of quattro arches :)

The SL? No, but I still have a soft spot for the Granada coupe..

Cheers,

Gaz

That brings back memories Derek

I learned to drive, and subsequently was given, an Audi 80 saloon for my first car in 1983

Fantastic car - really driveable

This was my 100GL - great car , kept it for years and my sister ran it after me .

An Italian friend had an Audi 100 coupe in the 80s which he drove to death. Very impressive car and handled the Italian style of driving very well. Sadly, he wrecked it eventually, but not before providing us all with a lot of fun! RIP little red Audi! :D

I know where there's one lying ( in a sorry state ) in Glasgow .

I preferred this at the time

My Dad had one of those, in red. I learnt to drive in it around the carpark of my uncles pub back in 1977. IIRC it was one of the first cars to have dual circuit brakes. It went like stink for it's time, could reach 125mph.

Re the SL, it reminds me of one of the Lynx conversions that they used to do on the Jaguar XJS and others....
