Hi folks,

Having just purchased a Porsche 911 I am considering selling my R129 1995 320so in metallic grey with mushroom interior...60,000 miles and genuinely immaculate; specialist that I spoke with prior to buying the car three years ago said it was the best he'd seen in the five years that he had been open...

Currently on holiday in the south of France where it has driven us for the past three years and runs without fault...coping with the traffic, heat and drive down through France without raising a sweat...

I literally have no idea of it's value?

Thoughts please...thank you.

As a 95 it will have the straight 6 engine. With these car condition and provenance is everything. Appearance counts for a lot too with some colours /wheels/accessories/trim combos a lot more attractive than others. In the end its worth what the market dictates so it pays to scour the "for sale" adverts to get the current feel for it. This perhaps is not the best time to sell it but who knows. Twisting my arm on price I am going to offer a figure of £15K ish* with a £3-4 K margin of error either way????? Its an iterative process----do the market research -- price accordingly-----put it up for sale-----adjust the price according to response. Post up a picture

* based on mainly trade adverts who will offer some form of warranty. I believe BlackC55 on here sells quite a few of these so might be worth a PM

Prices seem all over the place but my gut feel says somewhere between £10k and £15k assuming it really is as nice as you say. Some classic car dealers seem to ask the earth but not sure if they ever sell. You could ask turnbull and Oliver to shift it on your behalf? They’d also help with the valuation I’m sure. What 911 did you go for?

..thank you and a 996, purchased at the beginning of this year...might advertise the Merc' on here?

Best wishes Giles

I would say having had one and sold it that people are a bit on the high side here. I would say between 8-10k if you find somebody who wants one in that spec/colour. The later facelift cars seem to be worth a bit more but you do have mileage on your side.

Thank you...will scratch my head...

...few pictures

Gumtree and car and classic charge no fee for adverts, ebay is only £14.99 for 28 days and it's also free on here.

Car looks tidy and should sell if reasonably priced.

...ok; first to offer me £9k.

And I am being quite serious;pm me. Thank you.
