My first post to ANY forum, I'm desperate! be kind 
. I've had an 2005 Reg SL350 for 10 years.. Throughout its life it's had various electrical problems...but I think it's now finally died. The key wont turn in the ignition & it's stuck in Park. All electronics won't work, including the cent locking, windows etc...In fact the windows are stuck halfway down. The batteries are OK I think & are fully charged.
The ignition itself has been taken out and tested & it's fine. I've had it said to me that it's some kind of major unknown problem that might take £1000's to fix. End of my tether. Its only done 18K miles & worth £9K...Because I'm fed up with it, I'm trying to get rid of it "tow away" for £5K at the mo! Any ideas on what the problem might be though? ta!
