SL350 - How to turn off full beams

Morning All,

I have recently got myself a SL350 but i'm having a few problems with the lights. Everytime I put the light switch to Auto or just general lights, (not dipped), it is going striaght to full beam, (with the blue light symbol in the dash). Does anyone know how to correct this? Whilst i've been typing this the only thing i can think of is that the indicator lever has been pushed back? Any help would be appreciated!

If it's functioning correctly, the indicator/wiper stalk should be pulled back (just as if you were flashing your lights) and not forward.

There should be a positive click when it comes back
