My SL55 has the pulse massage and heated options in the seats, but not the ventiliated option.
Now my local Merc dealer reckons that all that is missing to add the ventilated option are the fans and the switches on the doors (and a recoding of course). He said this because the car has perforated leather seats meaning the seats are almost there as opposed to the solid leather ones which would need replacing.
The conversation came up as I had bought some bits off an SL being broken and it had the door switches for the ventilateed option available for £180 for the pair.
However I have looked at the parts diagram for the seats and think there may be more to it than that.
Any ideas as if it wasn't going to cost much to add I may do it, but I am not wanting to spend thousands adding a 'nice to have'!
