sl55 sat nav

Bought an SL 55 and picking it up on Saturday. It's a 2002 model. Is the sat nav CD driven and if so - where can I get the latest update from?

Personally i wouldn't bother, i paid £99,( should have been £200) for the very last update and final disc (well that's what they said) and it is about useless, takes some full post codes and others i can only enter 3 or four digits, then it asks for address :fail and takes forever to set up.

It didn't like working abroad, where as my cheap Garmin never let me down once, (France, Belgium, Germany and Austria) if i knew back then, i would have saved my money and bought a better Garmin.
