Had my car 6 months now and just like to add I love it.
Downgraded if that is the right word from a 2013 DBS Volante Carbon with 6k on the clock.
Don't regret it at all this is a blast puts the fun factor back in for the Sunday car.
Yes it's missing the badge and after 6 months yes that's all it's missing the car drives as good, suspension slightly better, more fun gearbox and trim levels higher. Quicker as it has the performance upgrade boy this pulls well!
Had 3 Astons would have another nothing wrong with them a very well made car with a excellent pedigree just overpriced for the badge.
The roof on the SL can squeak now and then the Aston didn't but that was cloth this is better as its metal with glass.
The noise is terrific but the Aston was too just different.
Bought the SL for 50k sold the Aston for £120k can't see where the difference is I reckon the SL is a better car and I now don't have a mortgage.
Cheers :thumb:

The reason we went for an SL was the Steel/Glass roof. Just didn't fancy a soft top.

We looked at Aston Martins and Bentley's but I just couldn't get my head around the price of them, or depreciation. We kind of arrived at the same conclusion that you did, where's the extra value?

Plus we could buy an SL new, which was appealing.
