SL65 wheels

I just picked up my SL55 and it has the SL65 wheels with the anthrecite centers on the car. I have already bought a new set of wheels for the car and was wondering if anyone would be interested in these wheels for £2000 including the tyres which are about 1/2 worn.

Oh I forgot to say. These are the 19" OEM (not replicas) wheels that fit all R230 SL's and CLS mercedes. The rear tyres are 285X30X19 and the fronts are 255X35X19

They would look great on the CLS Sean.

The tyres are Bridgestones. They have 5mm + on both fronts as per the Mercedes multipoint check and 4mm + on both rears. These measurements are taken from the illegal tyre measurment bump so visually the treads seem a lot deeper.

I have noticed a few small areas where the laquer is coming off and a few TINY skuffs which I can have sorted out as well.

are scuffs and peeling lacquer on 1 wheel or more?

3 of them but is so minor. Im realy **** about my wheels and will have them refubished before they go out.

Hi Not sure if these are still up for sale. A) Do they still inlcude the tyres and B) you mention the tyres sizes, can you tell memthe wheel sizes.

Yes they are still for sale. Im looking at them right now on my car to be taken off on Monday - Tuesday and refurbished.

A- Yes they do include tyres.
B- Tyre sizes quoted give you wheel sizes. 20" wheels 8.5" up front and 10" rears.

Finding a good set of these wheels is VERY RARE and they tip the scales at over £1000 per wheel from factory.

I'm not 100% but the chart seems to indicate that the R230 offset is quite different to the W215 offset in those sizes.

You need to find out the offset really .

The cl65 wheels are wry specific to the car. Due to different drive shafts on the rear the offset needs to be much higher.

The offset of the 2pc 19" IV wheels for a cl65 are as follows:

8.5"x19 et44
9.5"x19 et60

The rear wheels for a cl55 would be et46.

Does anyone know if they would fit a 2004 CL600? I was once told the CL600 and CL55 have the same offset. Is that true? If so am I right that these would fit my CL600? Thanks, Mel.

All CLs bar the 65 should ideally run an offset of 44 front and 46 rear based on 8.5" and 9.5" width.

The R230 SL wheels are either 31 and 30 or 28 and 25.

Aka$h , who knows more about wheels than most , says they wont a couple of posts above.

Use the chart that is stickied at the top of the wheel section.

R230SL wheels are a different offset to W215CL wheels. So if the OP's wheels are off an SL65 , they probably won't fit.

Yes they came with the CL65 as standard, not the 55. They where a £4000.00 option on the 55. I bought mine from Aka$h ( Simal ) as i have always liked them on the CL.

Aka$h will have the correct ones for your 65, as mentioned the ET is very different to the 55, 60 on the rear. Give Simal a call.
