Slipping CLK 55 Autobox

Hi all.
My W208 CLK 55 AMG has been garaged for quite a while due to working aboard to feed the new baby.
I took the CLK out for a spin and the autobox slipped out of gear twice. I guess that will involve throwing a lot of cash at her...
Does anyone have a similar experience or have some advice on where to get it sorted out around the south east?
What sort of cost should I be looking at?

I agree. I had a similar problem with a W208 CLK and the box was perfect after an ATF change. Simples!

Hi, thanks for the info. I will get it into the garage for a complete service and go from there.
I am hoping that will sort it...

make sure u take it to a decent garage that you know very well and they know you and there is trust both ways - otherwise your wallet could be in for a real bashing. If stories are true some MDs could be worst offenders. There are some decent indies on these forums. If you look through various posts they should become apparent.
