Hi all, I've been lurking and learning from this forum for a few months now. The help from the members on here is invaluable. I thought it time i posted, so here goes.

I have a 230 Kompressor, the seats are not supportive, particularly when having fun on a twisty road. Does anyone know if there are any better seats from a different model that would fit?

I also have a W202 C240, also with leather seats. these are much better, but apart from being the wrong color, they seem bigger, so i would be surprised if they could be made to fit.

Any suggestions welcome

Thanks
Doug

A long shot, but you could try finding some SLK32AMG seats or from a C32AMG that has been written off, that or you are looking at either re upholstering existing seats with more wadding, or fitting aftermarket lumbar supports that I seem to remember reading somewhere like SLK32.com.

Thanks for the tip Matt, there is a useful article on lumber support that has me thinking it is worth removing the seat to see what mods i can do myself.

What year is your 170 from? Does it have heated seats?

If you have a pre-facelift 170 with non-heated seats then from what I read you might find the facelift, heated or not and pre-facelift with heated seats to be more comfortable.
