I have just bought my first MB and it is a 2003 SLK 200, which has the standard stereo equipment installed. I want to install my Sony head unit as it has a hands free function but I cannot find any where I can buy an adapter kit.

Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can find one?

Thanks

I think Halfords have them.
I may have one knocking about - I will check tonight.

Edit: just realised - is it the head unit to steering wheel adapter you need? (I don't have that)

I just need the kit to connect the stereo to the car, I have not even thought about steering wheel controls

I am not sure as I have not got the current unit out yet I am waiting on e removal keys to turn up in the post. I hope they will turn up tomorrow but my post service is pretty poor first class takes about 5 days to get here.

As soon as I know I will let you know.

Just saw your car is 2003, it has ISO connections already. You only need a steering wheel interface if you want to retain steering control.

I didn't even see the steering wheels controls. I will have to have a look for those.
