SLK interior

Hi . Has anyone tried replacing the fake carbon fibre dash in a pre 2000 SLK with a aluminium dash from a post 2000 SLK. If so , what costs are involved.

Dunno but there was a SLK silver centre console on ebay the other day.

It went for a little over £3
