SLK R171 Boot adjustment

Good evening members,
I have recently purchased a SLK 200 R171 and not sure how to adjust the boot lid buffers and guides on each side, to stop the constant rattle and possible cause of water egress. All the rubber seals have been treated and waterways checked and clear.
Any help will be much appreciated.
