Why bot consider a petrol in an SLK?
My mum was lent a 250 petrol and that was showing an average of 38mpg over the 5k since new.
I reset it and it returned over 40mpg on the 20 odd miles I used it.
Do you do a lot of miles?

There was some great deals on the 250 AMG auto petrol a while back, £240 a month for a new one including vat, that was with with £1450 down doing 10k miles a year.
Not sure what they will be like in the height of summer though, deals I mean, sure the car would be lovely.
