Click to expand... BlueEFFICIENCY is not related to AdBlue. Firstly, BlueEFFICIENCY applies to all MB cars from a certain year onwards (circa 2010, but varies by model). Then, BlueEFFICIENCY applies equally to both Diesel and petrol cars. AdBlue (aka BlueTec), on the other hand, applies only to EU6 Diesel engines, from around 2015 onwards. Two very different things.... BlueEFFICIENCY is not a problem, AdBlue on other hand is a ticking time bomb.

My C Class petrol was a Blueefficiency car; I believe that meant it had start/stop, some plastic undershields to smooth airflow and a bit of electrickery that managed the alternator and battery charging.
