SLK55 R171 Kleemann

Hi All,

I’ve been looking to replace me SLK55 with a supercharged one.

I’ve got my eye on one that Kleemann upgraded in Denmark, the S8 kit. Has anyone had much experience with the kit? How reliable are they, what millage they can get too, are spare parts available, etc

James, I have a little experience albeit only recent, having bought one in September. They’re great little cars, and quite nuts. I have seen two others for sale, one was LHD, and one was only a few months ago, with well over 100k miles (maybe 140k?).

Parts availability is difficult to comment upon, and I suspect that success could vary wildly depending upon what you need. They don’t sell the kits brand new any more, which won’t help if needing to replace specific components manufactured by Kleemann themselves.
