I play chess on the internet ( lichess). On the PC, it has got very slow which means I lose most games. If I play on the same website on an Ipad, the chess site works perfectly. All other websites on the PC are ok. I have tried different browsers but the problem persists. Is there a solution?

It could be so many things...
Check your browser is upto day and also try clearing the all cache files and cookies, check your Java is upto date also.
Might be worth getting an Adblocker installed also if you havent got one, on screen ads could be effecting performance also.

It's an undemanding game, but how old is the PC
Amount of RAM, HDD etc.
Mobile versions of websites run a lot more efficiently (as they have to) so it could be the main website that isn't functioning properly (coding etc)
