Hi All,

I was driving into Woking today and spotted a black SLR. Not every day you see one of those!

I turned into Woking Business Park and saw a large MB sign on a building. I thought great! I'll ask them if the can take a look at my brakes (experiecing judder when braking). I drove in further then realised that it is the HQ for McLaren! I don't think they'd be interested in looking at my car!

The black SLR I saw probably just came from there!
Maybe one day (If I win the lottery) I'll be able to afford one and go there to have it serviced!

Driving between Aylesbury and Buckingham the other day and saw this black funny looking SLK coming towards me, realised it was an SLR as it got closer!! Not seen one in the flesh, got to say great road presence One day!

I have seen two now, A silver one in Guildford, and a black one in Horsham. I think the silver ones look better, IMHO.
One awesome car though! about 10 mins later in Horsham I saw an Aston Martin Vanquish, too much excitement for one day!

Seen a fair few around work now (WELL 4,but this has to be some sort of record for a car this rare) and saw a Carrera GT. The mercedes garage down the road from work has an SLR and a MAybach there most of the time. Actually, seen a lot of Maybachs round Baker St (Mayfair down the road) and saw an 612 scaglietti ferrari the other day - pretty ugly in the flesh!but with massive prescence and noise.

I've only seen a silver one so far. It was actually Prince Naseem's - saw him outside Cafe de Paris a few months ago, that car looks and sounds awseome in the flesh!

I followed a silver 54-plate SLR off the M25 and into Woking last week - turned the stereo off and wound down the windows............

Seen lots of these lately as I drive past McLaren HQ on the A320 regularly. If you want to see any newly released Mercedes just wait outside their HQ and you wont be disappointed. I have an old school friend who is the production manager for McLaren. He often gets to take one home although I think taking his mates out is a strict no-no. Shame I lost contact with him

I usually have my 6230 to hand, but as my car has the MB kit for a 6210, I use this when driving .

While on the subject of phones, does anyone have a 6310i MB interface for sale??

There is a car garage called Clive Sutton near St Johns Wood with a Sliver SLR in the window..., they were selling a black one two weeks ago. They've also got the odd Lambo, Ferrari and Bentley..

Always seems to a traffic hotspot just outside their window for some reason or another..
