A friend has just purchased a S500L on a 02 plate which is w220 I believe.

The car has lots of toys including heated reclining rear seats, comand, sunroof etc and also has a fully working LPG system fitted.

He took it for MOT and it failed on a tyre (now sorted).

Car has done 170K

Question is ....How much do you think the car was purchased for??

Incidentally it also has mostly MB service history.

Depends on bodywork - does it have rusty wheel archs for instance? I would say £1500 for a shabby one and up to £3000 for a minter.

Carat is very close. The arches are surprisingly good actually, the most rusty bit is around the LPG filler which I suspect wasn't sealed properly during fitting.
